Painting Epic Irusk for Warmachine

Prepping the First Piece

Today we’re going to skip the assembly steps, for the most part. I will point out a few bits of advice. First, pin the flag arm to the body. That is a lot of weight in a
small joint. Secondly, you may want to add a washer or another form of weight to the base. Irusk is rather heavy and has a tendency to tip over if bumped.

Now moving on the important part, the how to of painting Irusk. First off the model needs to be primed.

The primer needs to coat the mini well, yet not be thick. Spray at a distance of 8”-12” in smooth even strokes. Turn the model to get the whole thing. Once the upper
layers are dry, you can lay the model on its side and prime there too.
