Miniatures Wargames:
Warmachine: In WARMACHINE®, the very earth shakes during fierce confrontations where six-ton constructs of tempered iron and steel slam into one another with the destructive force of a locomotive, where lead-spewing cannons chew through armor plating as easily as flesh, and where a tempest of arcane magics sets the battlefield ablaze with such Armageddon-like proportions that the gods themselves fear to tread such tormented ground! Victory shall favor the bold! So bring it on, if you’ve got the metal.
Hordes: Take control of a powerful warlock and wreck havoc on your foes with a warpack of hulking warbeasts fueled by unbridled rage. In HORDES, only the strongest, fastest, and most cunning will survive, while the rest will be troll-chow for your warbeasts. HORDES is a new 30mm tabletop miniatures combat game set in the wilds of the Iron Kingdoms. Players jump into the action controlling enigmatic Warlocks and their packs of savage Warbeasts as they battle for territory and survival.
Heroclix: a game about super-heroic action. It's action packed and includes superpowers that let your characters fly, bash your enemies with lamp posts, knock them around, and a bunch of other special abilities. Plus it does all of this in a game that’s fast and interesting, but easy enough for anyone to play.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warhammer is a miniatures war game, where players command vast armies of model soldiers in the struggle to outmaneuver and outfight one another on a tabletop battlefield. This gaming action is set amid a fantasy world like no other, where sorcery and monsters are common on the field of battle. The aim of every person who plays Warhammer is to pit their force of miniatures against other players across fantastic battlefields. Win or lose, all fantasy battles are entertaining challenges in which you try to out-think and out-play your opponent, taking advantage of what good luck comes your way, but ultimately relying upon sound tactics to win the day.
Warhammer 40k: The aim of every person who plays Warhammer 40,000 is to pit their force of miniatures against other players across war-torn futuristic battlefields. Win or lose, all battles are entertaining challenges in which you try to out-think and out-play your opponent, taking advantage of what good luck comes your way, but ultimately relying upon sound tactics to win the day.
RPGs:
Vampire: The Requiem: Vampires, blood-drinking creatures of the night. Horrors born of darkness, whose sole purpose in life - unlife, actually - is to slake their unholy thirst on the blood of the living. Without doubt, vampires are monsters.Monsters, though, need not always be unthinking, unfeeling terrors empty of remorse, or even compassion or other human traits. Indeed, vampires can exceed their deathless curse, themselves becoming antiheroes or even heroes. Then again, some vampires truly remain monsters.
Werewolf: The Forsaken: In Werewolf: The Forsaken, the second Storytelling game set in the World of Darkness, you and your friends tell the story of some of these monsters, namely those abandoned men and women who inherit the legacy of the werewolf. Neither wholly spirit nor flesh, the Uratha (as werewolves call themselves in their ancient language) is creatures of two worlds. Since the beginning of time, they have tended the Shadow Realm while staking out territory in the physical world and ruling it as the ultimate apex predators. Yet for the sacrifice of their ailing forebear, the Uratha have been forsaken by their former spirit allies and consigned to a physical world that knows only fear. Now they can rely only on each other, their mother Luna, and what few spirit allies they've managed to wrestle back into submission. They must stand on the threshold between two worlds swarming with enemies.
Mage: The Awakening: In Mage: The Awakening, the third World of Darkness Storytelling game, you and your friends tell stories set in this world, in which you reveal these secrets and unravel the Mysteries of Creation. Those who do so successfully Awaken to the greatest mystery of all-that the rules of reality are not as hard and fast as everyone thinks. By forging mystical paths to realms beyond the material world, the Awakened (known as wizards, sorcerers, and mages) can impose the laws of those higher realms on this world. Doing so, they can shed light on what hides in the World of Darkness and work great wonders tempered only by their wisdom. Yet for all their power and insight, the Awakened are still human, subject to the same failings and shortsightedness all humanity suffers. They must temper their wonders with wisdom, lest the friction between opposing laws of disparate realities cause an uncontrollable Paradox. Nor can they cavalierly expose the secrets their Awakenings reveal to them. Some secrets are hidden from Sleeping humanity for good reasons, and it is only the proud, foolish mage who casts into the light those things best exiled to shadow.
Exalted: Exalted is a game of epic fantasy set during the Second Age of Man, a time before our own. It is an age of magic and adventure, when heroes of legend are reborn into a time of woe. At the dawn of the First Age, the gods gave power to men that they might slay the gods' Primordial enemies. Anointed by the gods, these beings were thereafter known as the Exalted.
Dungeons & Dragons: The game that defines the genre and has set the standard for fantasy roleplaying for more than 30 years. D&D is an imaginative, social experience that engages players in a rich fantasy world filled with larger-than-life heroes, deadly monsters, and diverse settings. As a hobby game, D&D is an ongoing activity to which players might devote hours of their time—much like a weekly poker game—getting together with friends on a regular basis for weeks, months, or even years.
Shadowrun: The year is 2070. The world is not only Awakened -- it's wired. Cyber and bioware implants make your meat body better-than-flesh, while the wireless Matrix enhances your perceptions with hyper-real senses. Deals are made in steel and lead more often than gold or nuyen; success and failure live only a razor's edge apart. Creatures of myth and legend walk the streets, while the arcane skills of spellslingers are in high demand. Above it all, monolithic megacorps bleed the world dry, sabotaging each other in covert cutthroat competition as they go to war over the bottom line. You're a shadowrunner, a street operative, scratching out a living on the mean sprawl streets. You may be human, elf, dwarf, ork or troll. >From lethal street samurai to well-connected info brokers, spell-slinging mages or code-cracking hackers. No matter what, you're a professional --corporate pawn or "deniable asset," you get the job done.
Rifts: Sometime in Earth's future, after a Golden Age of peace and technological advancement, the face of the planet is decimated by the return of magic and the Coming of the Rifts. Cities fall, civilization collapses, billions of people perish, and portals to a thousand alien worlds open across the face of the planet. The story of Rifts® picks up 300 years later. Humankind has, at last, crawled out of a 200 year long Dark Age to reassert itself in the world. Only this world – Rifts Earth – is as strange as any alien planet.
